HONG KONG OCEAN PARK HALLOWEEN CAMPAIGN

We create engaging brand experiences for KOLs to generate social buzz via viral videos

THE OBJECTIVE

Hong Kong Ocean Park launches one of Asia’s largest annual Halloween celebration, featuring all-new interactive, fun and horror-filled attractions and shows.

While mainland tourists account for more than half of the ticket sales to the theme park, the key objective is to build awareness and create hype for Halloween Fest for CN visitors, who may not be familiar with Halloween festivities at Ocean Park.

THE IDEA

We invited popular comedic KOL ohmylady 花花 and 黃文煜 to visit Ocean Park and experience the Halloween festivities, introducing key attractions in a short viral video.

The tour was a full day experience, whereby the KOLs were taken around Ocean Park to explore the in-park Halloween attractions following a short script to introduce the attractions in a comical and quirky way.

The video was then shared on their Weibo and Miaopai platforms to create buzz.

Taiwanese superstar, Danson Tang, was also invited to interact with his fans and introduce his Club Blood Halloween attraction during a live broadcast session in the park during the tour to further generate social buzz.

THE RESULTS

In 2 weeks time, we drove over 3 million video views and over 40K engagement from the viral video, successfully creating awareness for Ocean Park Halloween Fest.
